Biography
Rita Baruss (1953- ) lives in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Her novels "The Quest of Keppoch Mountain" and "Spek's Story: A Novel for Young Readers" have both been published by Borealis Press. She brings her own youthful interests into her books for young readers. Her Nova Scotia home is near the real Keppoch Mountain, which she describes as more of a foothill than the Rocky mountains.
